Position: ACCOUNT MANAGER - Covering key regions including Orlando, Gainesville, Jacksonville, and Lake City.
Employment Type: Full-time with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, critical illness coverage, and a 401k plan with employer matching.
Compensation: This role offers a competitive BASE SALARY along with COMMISSIONS.
Role Summary:
The Account Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth of medical products within the designated Florida territory. The individual will work towards achieving personal sales targets, participate in trade shows, and collaborate with distributor representatives. Key responsibilities include selling to distributors and dealers, as well as providing service to various healthcare facilities such as long-term care, rehabilitation centers, hospice, and homecare services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate an annual sales strategy for the territory and provide quarterly performance updates to the Regional Manager.
- Expand and nurture the customer base, follow up on sales leads, and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
- Engage with various departments including:
- Purchasing: Engage with executives, owners, purchasing agents, and logistics personnel to ensure inclusion in bidding processes.
- Nursing: Collaborate with nursing directors, wound care specialists, and education coordinators.
- Therapy: Work with physical and occupational therapists.
- Environmental Services: Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams.
- Discharge Planning: Partner with case managers and social workers.
- Achieve or surpass sales goals aligned with the established sales strategy.
- Ensure customers receive relevant product samples and informational materials.
- Provide training and educational support to clients.
- Assist the Marketing Department by sharing insights on new products, market trends, pricing, and competitive landscape.
- Participate in clinical programs and workshops as assigned.
- Adhere to the Quality Policy and follow established operational procedures.
- Attend regional and national sales meetings as required.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure personal and equipment safety.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Collaborate with national, regional, and local distributors.
