Overview:
Venture Solar is on the lookout for a motivated and results-oriented sales professional to join our team as a Remote Sales Specialist. This role is designed for seasoned sales experts who are confident in their abilities. You will undergo an intensive training program to become proficient in solar sales.


This position is not a conventional virtual sales role; instead, you will collaborate with a consultant who is present at the client's location, focusing on the technical aspects of the solar design, financing options, and finalizing the sale.

A sales representative will visit the client's home to gather utility information, capture images, provide an overview of our offerings, and share the company's background with the client.

During this process, you will join the meeting virtually to discuss equipment choices, create a tailored design for the client, analyze their current and projected electricity expenses, and ultimately present a proposal to secure the sale.

We refer to this approach as 'Hybrid Appointments,' which combines both in-person and virtual elements.

All appointments will be pre-scheduled and qualified.

You will only participate in meetings where your team member has already met with the client and collected the necessary utility information.

This method optimizes time management and offers one of the highest earning potentials in the industry.


With the flexibility of remote work, you can conduct a high volume of consultations without the need for travel or dealing with no-show appointments.

Remote Sales Specialists are only required to attend monthly sales meetings and occasional team events. Training and onboarding will be conducted in person.


Venture Solar provides a competitive commission structure along with a base salary for this position, as we aim to attract top talent.

We understand that as a highly skilled closer, your time is invaluable, which is why we designed this role to minimize travel and maximize your exposure to 3-6 prospects daily.


Qualifications:
4+ years of sales experience required

Proficiency in solar design software

In-person presence in our office four days a week

Maintain a closing rate of 35% or higher

Successfully complete the Design Optimization Evaluation.

Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to continuous learning and adaptation

Ability to close deals in a competitive market

Compensation:
The target compensation is $230,000+, with the following details:

Base salary of $26,000 paid bi-weekly

$.10 per watt for company-generated leads, where the Remote Sales Specialist assists with the sale

$.15 per watt for referrals, with the company offering a referral fee of $500, $750, or $1,000 based on the customer's referral tier

$.30 per watt for self-sourced deals

Volume-based bonuses

Additional incentives based on performance metrics

30% commission paid upon Notice to Proceed, 70% paid at installation

Role & Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with management to optimize a daily schedule aimed at maximizing presentations

Close your own referrals and self-generated opportunities in Hybrid Appointments

Engage with 40-70 new prospects monthly and aim to close at least 20 opportunities each month

Participate in monthly in-person sales meetings

Work with Junior Solar Consultants to advance opportunities from design to closure.

Ensure compliance with the sales process, including app downloads, referral generation, Letter of Intent signatures (when applicable), and credit checks

Independently generate contracts and manage the sales lifecycle from appointment setting to closure
