Position Overview


As a vital member of Chenega Corporation, the Security Operations Officer II plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our facilities. This position involves protective service duties, including safeguarding property, securing equipment, and managing access for personnel and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

- Engage and assist public and government representatives as necessary.
- Professionally welcome and interact with employees, distinguished guests, and the general public.
- Maintain composure and professionalism in high-pressure situations.
- Prepare and document clear, concise, and accurate reports in English.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

- Ability to read, comprehend, and implement printed guidelines, detailed instructions, and training materials in English.
- Minimum age requirement of 21 years.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Must hold and maintain a valid state driver's license.
- Proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding the English language is essential.
- No history of illegal drug use, sale, possession, or manufacture within the last five years.
- Absence of felony convictions or any criminal history that may affect reliability, including offenses under the Lautenberg Act.

- Successfully pass government-mandated medical and physical standards as outlined in 10 CFR Part 1046 for Protective Force Personnel.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Previous experience in monitoring security systems and dispatching is preferred.
