Position Overview
This is a full-time, non-exempt position that requires exceptional customer service skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. The role serves as a personal banker for business clients and provides support to the Cash Management Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
Must be adept and capable of executing all essential functions of the Commercial Banking Advisor I role. Additionally, this position will:
  • Deliver high-quality customer service promptly and courteously at all times.
  • Assess customer needs, propose solutions, and resolve issues proactively.
  • Facilitate the opening of deposit accounts and assist clients with inquiries regarding banking services.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of advanced business customer solutions, including but not limited to:
    • Direct Deposits
    • Business Online Banking
    • Mobile Banking
    • Remote Deposit Capture and Setup
    • Domestic and International Wire Transfers
    • Online ACH Transactions
    • Construction Draws
    • Troubleshooting and educating clients on our products and services.
  • Promote ancillary income products such as merchant services and credit cards.
  • Adhere to established audit, security, and compliance protocols while demonstrating a thorough understanding of policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Banking Advisor to identify, analyze, and present cash management products and services to existing business clients and potential corporate customers:
    • Assist in building and maintaining relationships with business and consumer clients.
    • Support customer setup and service maintenance for all cash management products and services.
    • Travel to client locations for equipment and software installation, including training and troubleshooting as needed, in compliance with Timberline Bank policies.
    • Address customer service issues and resolve problems efficiently.
    • Maintain current knowledge of all regulations and demonstrate an understanding of the company's policies and procedures.
    • Exhibit proficiency in diagnosing and resolving technical issues in person, over the phone, and via email in a timely and professional manner.
    • Provide support for cash management products by reviewing setup documentation for accuracy and completing system configurations for business clients. Assist in training clients and bank personnel on all cash management offerings.
    • Uphold confidentiality regarding sensitive customer and proprietary information.
    • Work independently while providing professional and knowledgeable assistance to all clients.
  • Establish a collaborative relationship with a Business Banker, serving as their primary contact for business banking inquiries, which requires strong relationship-building skills.
  • Responsibilities may expand as experience and professional aspirations develop.
Required Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Colorado Notary certification.
  • Prior banking experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of banking services and products to provide effective solutions for our clients.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, communication, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • Team-oriented with a strong collaborative attitude.
  • Maintain current knowledge of all regulations, including BSA, and demonstrate an understanding of the Bank's policies and procedures.
  • Commitment to ongoing education to enhance job knowledge.
