Job Overview

The primary responsibilities of the Administrative Support Team Associate (AST) include:
  • Organizing the Store Management Office and executing essential operational administrative tasks.
  • Overseeing scheduling and maintaining accurate records of cash functions.
  • Facilitating the hiring process and managing HR functions as the liaison for store personnel.
Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Essential Functions

The AST will:
  • Coordinate the distribution of all incoming communications, ensuring professionalism and enthusiasm in every interaction.
  • Manage the hiring process, including prescreening applicants and scheduling interviews.
  • Input employment data into the Job Requisition System and oversee new hire paperwork and training sessions.
  • Balance the vault and store checkbook while performing daily cash functions.
  • Act as a liaison for maintenance requests and train colleagues on procedures.
  • Prepare weekly store newsletters and maintain bulletin board programs.
  • Exhibit regular attendance and punctuality.

Qualifications and Competencies

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups.
  • Resourcefulness and adaptability to changing priorities.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings and weekends.

Essential Physical Requirements

The role requires:
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
  • Extended periods of sitting and communication with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work with multiple computer screens and programs simultaneously.
  • Occasional movement, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 10 lbs.
