Join Our Team as a Healthcare Billing Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Billing Specialist to become a vital part of our client's administrative and billing department, responsible for managing patient billing data efficiently.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and sound judgment to assist patients throughout the billing cycle. Proficiency in billing software and familiarity with medical insurance policies are essential for success in this role.

Compensation: $19 - $21 per hour
Shift: First
Work Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
Education Required: High School Diploma

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance revenue by establishing payment plans, collecting outstanding accounts, and monitoring delinquent accounts.
  • Resolve overdue accounts by negotiating payment arrangements with patients, tracking payments, and following up on any lapses.
  • Engage collection agencies and pursue legal action when necessary to recover debts, including testifying in court if required.
  • Maintain reports related to Medicare bad-debt costs.
  • Ensure timely collection of outstanding balances for employee care.

Qualifications:
