The Enrollment Services Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Director and Assistant Director of Enrollment Services in overseeing the daily functions of the enrollment services department and the one-stop center.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide confidential and professional administrative assistance to the Enrollment Services team, collaborating closely with leadership to develop and maintain training resources.
• Oversee the daily activities of Enrollment Services (One Stop) and guide the enrollment services specialists, including mentoring, training, and enhancing customer service skills. Lead a team of specialists while ensuring timely communication of updates and essential information to staff and stakeholders.
• Analyze operational processes and procedures, employing critical thinking to identify areas for improvement in the customer experience.
• Ensure that enrollment services personnel deliver consistent and accurate information to visitors and the broader university community.
• Act as a higher-level point of contact for visitors with complex enrollment issues or those who may be dissatisfied with services.
• Represent enrollment services on cross-functional committees, contributing to the development and management of office procedures, training, and data integrity initiatives.
• Demonstrate sensitivity to cultural diversity and personal biases, fostering equitable and respectful interactions with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Possess foundational to intermediate knowledge of various technologies, including software for communication, data management, student information systems, and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
• Generate reports and utilize data to inform decisions regarding staffing, recommended changes, and departmental initiatives.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
A Bachelor's degree is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
Experience
- Preferred two years of experience in higher education, particularly in student services roles.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
- Research and problem-solving abilities.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
