Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled PeopleSoft System Administrator to join our team at Connvertex Technologies Inc. as a key member of our Finance department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer the PeopleSoft system to ensure daily financial operations and maintenance processes are executed efficiently.
  • Update system configurations to meet changing business requirements, including adjusting stores, departments, and accounts, and ensuring proper application of allocations, reports, and group structures.
  • Perform system maintenance to ensure all programs are properly updated, identify and resolve system problems, and work closely with IT to report and resolve system issues.
  • Design, develop, and maintain financial reports for General Ledger and Tax entities using nVision and PeopleTools.
  • Ensure monthly nVision reports are run and distributed to store personnel.
  • Troubleshoot discrepancies with PeopleSoft reports, identify and resolve system problems, and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide full support during upgrades and maintenance, including UAT and go-live.
  • Support system internal and external audits and Identity Management (IDM) attestation.
  • Participate in IT monthly prioritization meetings regarding system ticket requests and enhancements.
  • Develop system user guides to document procedures and update changes periodically.
  • Work with the Finance System Analyst and IT Application Support team to monitor the interface of sales audit, payroll, and AP into General Ledger.
  • Support the Finance System team for chart of accounts maintenance, including updating chartfields, tree, and combo edit rules.
  • Maintain combo edit rules when changes are made to COA.
  • Prepare documentation of financial report structures and provide training to PeopleSoft users.
  • Maintain communication with company personnel to facilitate information between accounting and operations and ensure understanding and control of accounting issues and/or transactions.
  • Work with the IT Application Support team on PeopleSoft user acceptance testing, pilot, updates, and validation.

Requirements:

  • Great communication skills.
  • Expertise in PeopleSoft.
  • Accounts Payable experience.
  • General Ledger experience.
  • Business-side functional expertise.

Working Conditions:

This is a 6-month+ possible conversion role with 3 days onsite (Tues, Wed, Thur) in Dublin, CA.

Pay Rate: $75/hr - $80/hr on C2C.

Work Authorization: Someone who doesn't require sponsorship.
