ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Vice President of Regional Operations is responsible for overseeing a network of branches, ensuring outstanding member experiences and fostering market expansion. This role involves mentoring and developing branch managers and teams, upholding our core values while driving operational excellence and efficiency. Additionally, this position plays a vital role in representing Navigant Credit Union within the community.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leadership and Team Development:

  • Enhance team productivity and performance
  • Provide coaching and professional development opportunities
  • Assess performance and strategize for succession planning

Operational Excellence:

  • Ensure efficient operations across all branches
  • Enhance efficiencies and standardize best practices
  • Collaborate with various departments for process enhancements

Strategic Planning and Market Expansion:

  • Formulate strategies for market growth and profitability
  • Implement retail strategies to boost member engagement and service quality
  • Improve profitability and diversify product offerings

Financial Oversight:

  • Manage expenses within established budgets
  • Analyze data to support informed decision-making
  • Maintain positive relationships with vendors

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure adherence to laws and regulations
  • Address compliance and member-related issues
  • Oversee internal controls and audit processes

Community Involvement:

  • Act as a representative of Navigant Credit Union at local events
  • Encourage branch teams to participate in community initiatives
  • Develop partnerships to enhance community outreach efforts

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred

Experience/Skills/Knowledge:

  • 8-10 years of leadership experience in the banking sector
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire teams
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Proficient in PC applications and data analysis tools
  • NMLS registration is required
