Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Branch Administration Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to our branches, recruiting and training staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit, onboard, and train Float Team Members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Manage the Float Team, establish performance expectations, and conduct regular performance evaluations and management.
- Coach and mentor Float Team Members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Determine scheduling and staffing for the region, identifying gaps and allocating Float Staff accordingly.
- Assist AVP/Branch Managers with Saturday Schedules and Vacations to ensure branches are staffed appropriately.
- Work at different branches, assisting branch personnel with complex work-related problems and identifying inconsistencies to enhance processes.
- Oversee branch operations, ensuring policies and procedures are being met in the absence of the AVP/Branch Managers.
- Provide administrative and/or miscellaneous support to the AVP/Branch Managers or VP/Regional Manager as needed.
- Perform all duties of a Loan Officer, including taking loan applications, interviewing members, and ensuring documentation is complete.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with outside vendors to resolve problems and stay current on new product development.
- Participate in management meetings, communicate information to subordinate staff, and participate in local civic and community organizations to seek new business opportunities.
- Review incoming Web Loans and assign them to the appropriate branch across all regions.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) education required. BA/BS in Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years progressively responsible experience in branch operations, with knowledge of teller, member service, and loan policies.
- Minimum two years previous supervisory experience.
- Excellent verbal, written, telephone, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong service orientation skills in alignment with the credit union's mission and core values.
- PC proficient, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and the Internet.
- Ability to manage multiple projects/priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to sell products and services and conduct business development calls on members and potential members.
- Ability to function in a financial institution branch environment and utilize standard office equipment.
