Key Responsibilities
- Manage all facets of client insurance requirements, collaborating closely with an Account Executive or Producer.
- Collect client information and prepare necessary applications for submission to insurance providers.
- Develop proposals and insurance summaries tailored to client coverage requirements.
- Handle new business, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and rewrites efficiently.
- Clarify insurance policies and coverages, recommend enhancements, and address general client inquiries.
- Maintain precise electronic records of client accounts and comply with agency protocols.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and representatives from insurance carriers.
Qualifications
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Strong time management abilities and a proactive approach.
- Proven experience with a comprehensive understanding of Commercial Lines Coverages.
- A minimum of 3 years in an insurance agency role as an Account Manager or equivalent.
- Currently managing a commercial book valued between $2-3+ million.
- Experience in providing substantial support to a book of business.
- Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A collaborative team player.
- Property & casualty license is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic database software.
- Positive attitude and problem-solving capabilities; able to work effectively within a small team to deliver exceptional service.
