Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all facets of client insurance requirements, collaborating closely with an Account Executive or Producer.
  • Collect and analyze client information to prepare submissions for insurance carriers.
  • Develop proposals and insurance summaries tailored to client coverage assessments.
  • Handle new business, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and rewrites efficiently.
  • Clarify insurance policies and coverages, recommend enhancements, and address client inquiries.
  • Maintain precise electronic records of client accounts in accordance with agency protocols.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients and representatives from insurance carriers.

Qualifications
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong time management abilities and a proactive approach.
  • Proven experience and comprehensive knowledge of Commercial Lines Coverages.
  • A minimum of 3 years in an insurance agency role, preferably as an Account Manager.
  • Experience managing a commercial book valued between $2-3+ million.
  • Ability to provide substantial support to a portfolio of business.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A collaborative team player.
  • Property & casualty license is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic database software is preferred.
  • Positive attitude with strong problem-solving capabilities; adept at working within a small team to deliver outstanding service.
