Position Overview:
As a Commercial Credit Analyst, you will play a crucial role in assessing and overseeing the creditworthiness of our commercial clientele. Your insights will guide the recommendation of credit solutions that align with established banking protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Gather and monitor the receipt of financial documentation, including financial statements and compliance certificates from current clients.
2. Conduct annual evaluations of existing client relationships, which involves analyzing financial statements, assessing corporate financial health, and reviewing cash flow and collateral.
3. Prepare modification requests for ongoing client relationships.
4. Execute preliminary analyses of potential borrowers, including financial statement evaluations and cash flow assessments.
5. Underwrite new loan applications, incorporating thorough analyses and transaction evaluations.
6. Assign appropriate risk ratings and oversee compliance with covenants.
7. Provide analytical support to senior team members and account managers as required.
8. Participate in client meetings alongside account managers as necessary.
9. Be ready to discuss proposals with decision-makers in both individual and committee settings.
10. Undertake additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of commercial lending practices and the regulatory landscape.
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with team members.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- Proficient in analyzing corporate and personal financial statements.
- Exceptional financial analytical skills, coupled with sound judgment and decision-making capabilities.
- Strong relationship-building skills and adaptability to change.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Experience with financial spreading software is advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial lending, with exposure to loans ranging from $500,000 to $35 million.
- Preferred experience in SBA underwriting.
