Job Summary:

The Global Techcon Sales Director is responsible for driving sales growth and leading the Techcon sales team in the region. This role will focus on achieving sales and profitability targets for OK International.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine annual sales plans by analyzing market trends and results
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories
  • Develop country-specific sales strategies for the US, Mexico, APAC, EMEA, and Canada
  • Supervise and direct the work of sales team members, including interviewing, hiring, and performance reviews
  • Implement global sales programs by developing field sales action plans
  • Analyze sales statistics to track and predict growth of Techcon Portfolio
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with OKI distributors, reps, and end customers
  • Identify new customers and sales opportunities, and initiate action plans to secure new business for OKI brands
  • Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by monitoring supply and demand, market trends, and competitors
  • Establish and adjust selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications
  • Prepare and administer department budget
  • Establish performance goals to achieve OKI metrics for department employees and monitor performance on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
  • Coordinate customer payment and credit terms in support of the Operations and Finance departments
  • Maintain sales staff job results by coaching, monitoring, and reviewing job results of employees
  • Generate, issue, and improve monthly and project reports for internal use and Dover management
  • Provide department leadership and communicate company vision and culture
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years sales experience within the electronics, semiconductor, or industrial markets
  • Minimum 5 years sales management of direct sales teams
  • Experience selling through distribution and direct sales channels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective and persuasive presentation skills on complex topics
  • Previous exposure to international markets and customers
  • Good organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Work level experience with Microsoft Windows Environments
  • Sound judgment
  • Strong interpersonal skills
Education:

Bachelor's degree in chemistry, Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or other technical field.

Work Arrangement:

Remote

Salary Range:

$150,000.00 - $175,000.00
