The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Tax Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, processing, and filing payroll taxes in accordance with governing FLSA and IRS regulations, as well as supporting biweekly payroll processing activities, including garnishment and child support processing.

We offer a highly competitive salary range of $52,600 to $142,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes retirement plans, paid time off, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, flexible spending accounts, education assistance, and training and development opportunities.

In addition to your technical skills, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to respond to customer inquiries and sensitive matters that foster a trustworthy and collaborative environment.
