Job Title: Benefits and Compensation Senior Leader

A highly strategic and creative Benefits and Compensation Senior Leader is sought to drive organizational change, develop comprehensive benefits and compensation programs, and lead a team of benefits professionals.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and results-driven professional who can design, implement, and manage benefits and compensation strategies that attract, retain, and motivate top talent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance on benefits and compensation programs, policies, and processes.
  • Lead and provide guidance to the benefits manager in benefits plans and design, day-to-day operations of APL's benefits functions, and defined contribution retirement plans.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement annual compensation planning process, new hire packages, classification structures, job architecture, and regulatory requirements.
  • Design cost-effective health, disability, and wellbeing plans while ensuring compliance and competitiveness within the market.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of human resources experience with emphasis in benefits planning, design, and administration.
  • 5+ years' experience leading a benefits function in a corporate setting, including self-funded healthcare programs.
  • Compensation experience in broad-based design and implementation of compensation systems, compensation administration, and regulatory landscape.
  • Excellent program management, leadership, persuasion, and change-management skills, including written and verbal communications.
  • Ability to effectively tell a story using data analytics.
  • Mentorship and staff development experience, positive relationships across organizational boundaries, and contributing to building a strong workforce.
  • Validated ability to apply advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal requirements and reporting.
