Job Summary

Chase Staffing formerly Chase Professionals is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Delinquent Account Resolution Specialist to join our team. As a Collections and Recovery Professional, you will be responsible for resolving delinquent accounts by demanding and collecting the full amount due, establishing a solid plan with the borrower to bring the loan current, or proceeding with hardship assistance as appropriate.

Key Responsibilities
  • High Volume Call Handling: Answer high volumes of inbound calls from and/or generate high volumes of outbound calls to delinquent borrowers.
  • Delinquent Account Resolution: Resolve delinquent accounts by demanding and collecting the full amount due, establishing a solid plan with the borrower to bring the loan current, or proceeding with hardship assistance as appropriate.
  • Counseling and Communication: Counsel borrowers on options for meeting their payment obligations, explain terms, and arrange repayment plans based on department procedures.
  • Financial Analysis: Discuss financial status, review monthly income and expenses, and determine reason for non-payment.
  • Loss Mitigation: Offer Loss Mitigation assistance, when appropriate, explain options and processes in detail.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Demonstrate accurate knowledge and strict application of federal regulations and collection laws (FDCPA).
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain and document mortgage collection systems and databases with all activities and communications.
  • Payment Processing: Process mortgage loan payments in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Goal Achievement: Consistently meet monthly goals.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts with misapplied payments.
  • Training and Development: Successfully complete annual regulatory compliance training.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical Skills: Solid PC skills: Microsoft applications and loan servicing platforms.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
