This position is integrated within a specialized sales unit, providing tailored support to customers for improved service delivery.


Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in all designated sales unit meetings to grasp the needs and initiatives of the team.
- Deliver customer support encompassing various requests based on your assignment:
- Execute administrative functions such as account inquiries, communications, special customer requests, quotes, orders, and purchase orders.
- Prepare and disseminate reports utilizing PowerBI or PCS.
- Address and resolve customer issues as directed by sales representatives, managers, or directors.
- Assist with bids, eProcurement requests, and GPO onboarding processes.
- Collaborate with vendors to address requests and issues while preparing necessary documentation for approvals.
- Develop and document process flows to enhance operational efficiency while securing alignment from management.
- Provide timely support to customers to resolve sales-related challenges.
- Work alongside internal teams to address customer needs and issues.
- Expedite and follow up on urgent requests from customers.
- Engage directly with customers to ensure exceptional support.
- Assist in the preparation of Business Reviews.
- Collaborate within a team environment to elevate the customer experience.
Required Competencies and Skills:
- A minimum of 4 years of proven experience in sales support.
- A college degree or relevant internal experience at Global Industrial is preferred.
- Ability to work in a hybrid role (4 days in the office; 1 day remote).
- In-depth understanding of Global Industrial processes and sales administrative functions.
- Capability to work independently while adhering to processes with a focus on accuracy.
- Proficient PC skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and the capacity to maintain confidentiality are essential.
