Position: Crisis and Resource Specialist

Work Schedule: Thursday to Monday, 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM EST

We seek qualified candidates to engage with the New Hampshire Rapid Response Access Point Crisis Line, possessing experience in mental health, substance use disorders, crisis evaluation, and referrals.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle incoming calls, texts, and chats from individuals in crisis through the New Hampshire Rapid Response Access Point Crisis Line. Conduct safety evaluations and assessments to determine the level of risk to the individual or others. Utilize information gathered from callers and during assessments to accurately identify needs and collaboratively develop an action plan. Ensure timely and precise documentation of all interactions in line with established guidelines. Provide follow-up support to ensure individuals have accessed necessary services. Collaborate with various agencies and organizations to optimize resource utilization and support systems. Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent, with at least one year of experience in behavioral health or six months of direct crisis experience, including screenings and assessments; or a combination of education and experience that provides an equivalent background.

Preferred Qualifications:

A BS/BA degree in a mental health or human services field, along with two years of direct experience working with individuals requiring behavioral health services is strongly preferred. Experience in a call center environment is advantageous.
