Job Title: Marketing Intern

Join our team at Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont, Inc. as a Marketing Intern and contribute to the growth and visibility of our organization.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Marketing Intern to assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns, social media strategies, and content creation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of marketing principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement social media campaigns to engage existing members and attract new ones.
  • Design and create visual content, including graphics and videos, to promote Girl Scout programs and events.
  • Assist in the creation and distribution of marketing materials, including flyers, brochures, and email campaigns.
  • Monitor and analyze social media metrics to assess campaign effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and social media platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and social media analytics tools.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. The employee must have close visual acuity to perform activities such as viewing a computer terminal, preparing and analyzing data and figures and extensive reading.
