Job Title: Training and Engagement Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute training strategies that address gaps in employee knowledge and skills, working closely with Operations, Safety, HR, and Project Management teams.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to inform our overall culture and engagement strategy.
  • Design and deliver employee development and empowerment programs, including onboarding, employee experience, engagement, and culture initiatives.
  • Develop and refine our best-in-class onboarding experience, ensuring a seamless transition for new employees.
  • Implement growth and development training programs, focusing on ergonomics, industry regulations, best practices, and management development.
  • Promote a high-performing team environment, leveraging systems, tools, and technology to identify trends and solve problems within a diverse and inclusive culture.
  • Support Operations, Safety, and HR teams by developing training, safety, and employee engagement initiatives, as well as coordinating training schedules and conferences across multiple regions and facilities.
  • Serve as an advocate for our frontline operations team, focusing on our Driving Associates, and help develop positive employee experiences that positively impact the workforce and our community.
  • Create and coordinate internal communications initiatives, including recognition and engagement programs such as Driver of the Year and Proactive Safety Participation Awards.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Training and Program Development, Engagement Management, or Organization Consultation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Supply Chain, or Business Management.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in Training and Program Development, Engagement Management, or Organization Consultation.
  • Demonstrated success in building inclusive and diverse teams.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to express technical and non-technical concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Demonstrated experience in learning and development facilitation.
  • Experience developing curriculum in a course writing software, such as Articulate360.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal policy and requirements.
