Location: Dallas, Texas – Hybrid Work environment with expectation for 60% in office. Meeting Travel Required (up to 10%) as needed.

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Overview: The Volunteer Engagement Coordinator is tasked with the management of volunteer initiatives at ABOG. This position encompasses the oversight of volunteer recruitment, training, and ongoing support for various organizational events and programs. The Coordinator is pivotal in fostering relationships with volunteers and ensuring their experiences are in line with ABOG's mission and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads and manages the volunteer recruitment process
  • Arranges travel and accommodations for volunteers
  • Collaborates with various departments to guarantee sufficient staffing for volunteer-related activities
  • Creates assessment tools to evaluate volunteer contributions
  • Maintains clear communication with volunteers regarding their roles and timelines

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assists in organizing events and meetings
  • Provides support via phone for the Office of Medical Affairs

Qualifications:

  • Proven proficiency in essential skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Aptitude for building relationships with colleagues across departments
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and data management
  • Customer service oriented
  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The individual must be capable of sitting, using hands, speaking, and hearing. The role may also require standing and walking at times. Specific vision abilities are necessary for this position.

WORKING CONDITIONS: This role is typically conducted in a quiet office setting.
