The Kenneth P. Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences, Department of Economics is in search of a dedicated part-time professional to oversee the recruitment and administrative functions related to the Master in Quantitative Economics (MQE) program. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in identifying, attracting, and enrolling a cohort of exceptionally qualified students. Additionally, they will be tasked with establishing connections with external corporations, government entities, and non-profit organizations to facilitate career placement opportunities for successful graduates.

Key responsibilities include providing administrative and event support for the program. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding planning, organizational, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, along with the capability to work independently to address complex challenges. Familiarity with the career landscape in Economics is advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms is essential. Travel may be required.

Job Summary

This role involves managing the daily operations of student recruitment for both undergraduate and graduate programs. The incumbent will develop and execute recruitment marketing strategies, analyze data to assess effectiveness, prepare reports, and offer recommendations.

Essential Functions

The successful applicant will utilize a computer extensively and must be able to remain seated or standing for extended periods. They should have the ability to provide transportation for off-campus events and demonstrate proficiency in oral, written, and electronic communication. In addition to computer skills, familiarity with general office equipment such as telephones, fax machines, photocopiers, scanners, and printers is required.

Physical Effort

This position is primarily sedentary within an office environment, but the ability to travel on and off campus is necessary. The candidate should also be capable of lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds.
