Job Overview:

The Position

The Director of Architecture will assume a pivotal role in steering the comprehensive technical framework and will be accountable for the holistic solution architecture within Fidelity TalentSource LLC. This individual will collaborate closely with Business/Product Stakeholders, Agile Teams, and Fellow Architects while spearheading the digital and cloud transformation initiatives. The Director will liaise with enterprise architecture to ensure conformity with overarching blueprints and policies. The primary focus is to empower and expedite the delivery of our teams by crafting highly dependable, scalable, end-to-end solutions that yield significant business value.
 

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Over 10 years of professional experience in architecture, design, and development of enterprise-level solutions.
  • Proven ability to provide technical guidance, prepare design documentation, and implement solutions for agile teams. You will oversee the comprehensive solutions architecture design and effectively communicate the design to product stakeholders, agile teams, and architectural leadership.
  • Capability to engage with multiple teams to deliver architectural documentation, facilitate issue resolution, wellness strategies, and product roadmaps.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess business direction, comprehend long-term vision, and evaluate the risk/benefits in formulating strategic technical solutions. Collaborate closely with product stakeholders and teams in technology assessment, selection, recommendation, and configuration.
  • Ability to cultivate and sustain effective relationships with product stakeholders, architects, and technical leads for various products and applications. Collaborate with peer architects to identify opportunities for process reengineering, enhance customer experience, or conduct capability rationalization.
  • Extensive knowledge of comprehensive architecture including web, API design, data movement, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience working with enterprise data and security architects to comply with enterprise standards.
  • Proficient in working both independently and collaboratively with all organizational levels, including technical and non-technical team members.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technological solutions.
  • Exceptional presentation skills: proficient in written and verbal communication, including the ability to influence.
  • Experience presenting to senior management.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and practices, including building and deploying applications using AWS, Azure, or both. Cloud certification is preferred.
