Job Overview:

The Position

The Director of Architecture will assume a pivotal role in steering the comprehensive technical framework and will be accountable for the holistic solution architecture within Fidelity TalentSource LLC. This individual will collaborate closely with Business/Product Sponsors, Agile Teams, and Fellow Architects while spearheading the digital and cloud transformation initiatives of Fidelity TalentSource LLC. The Director will engage with enterprise architecture to ensure compliance with overarching blueprints and policies. The primary focus is to facilitate and expedite the delivery of our teams by devising highly dependable, scalable, end-to-end solutions that yield significant business value.
 

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Over 10 years of professional experience in architecture, design, and development of enterprise-level solutions.
  • Proven ability to provide technical guidance, create design documentation, and implement solutions for agile teams. You will lead the end-to-end solutions architecture design and communicate the design effectively to product owners, agile teams, and architectural leadership.
  • Capability to engage with multiple teams to produce architectural documentation, resolve issues, develop wellness plans, and outline product roadmaps.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess business direction, comprehend long-term vision, and evaluate the risk/benefits in formulating strategic technical solutions. Collaborate closely with product owners and teams in technology assessment, selection, recommendation, and configuration.
  • Proficiency in building and nurturing effective relationships with product owners, architects, and technical leads for various products and applications. Collaborate with peer architects to identify opportunities for process refinement, enhance customer experience, or conduct capability rationalization.
  • Extensive knowledge of comprehensive architecture, including web, API design, data movement, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Ability to work alongside enterprise data and security architects to comply with enterprise standards.
  • Capacity to operate both independently and collaboratively with all organizational levels, including technical and non-technical team members.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technological solutions.
  • Exceptional presentation abilities: proficient in written and verbal communication, including the capacity to influence stakeholders.
  • Experience presenting to senior management.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and practices, including building and deploying applications using AWS, Azure, or both. Cloud certification is preferred.
