Director, Personalization Architect

Role Summary

Fidelity Workplace Investing (WI) is in search of a seasoned architect within the Data & AI/ML Architecture division to enhance our Personalization and Experimentation product segment. Personalization stands as a fundamental element of our Digital Strategy, leveraging top-tier platforms to provide experiment-based, algorithmic, and AI/ML-enhanced experiences for clients, aiding them in reaching their financial and health wellness goals. The personalization initiatives are cross-functional projects aimed at advancing the journeys of both customers and clients at Fidelity.

Key Responsibilities and Skills Required

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is essential.
  • Professional Experience: Over 10 years in technology roles, with at least 5 years focused on architecture within the Data and Digital domains.
  • Architectural Expertise: Proven track record in designing highly scalable services, content recommendation systems, or orchestration engines.
  • Front-End Development: Proficient in Web (Angular) and Mobile (iOS, Android) technologies, ensuring high availability and scalability.
  • API Management: Familiarity with GraphQL and experience in developing and managing GraphQL APIs.
  • Database Knowledge: Experience with low-latency NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB, Aerospike, or Cassandra.
  • Cloud Solutions: Background in developing enterprise applications and data solutions on cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
  • Collaboration with Data Professionals: Experience in working alongside data engineers and data scientists to implement and deploy AI/ML models on platforms like AWS SageMaker.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Microservices, Docker, Jenkins, and REST APIs.
  • Programming Skills: Expertise in programming languages such as Python and Java, along with familiarity in Spring Boot, Microservices, Docker, Jenkins, and REST APIs.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to convey complex designs and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
