Job Summary

The Arkansas Department of Health is seeking a highly skilled Health Program Specialist I to join our team. This role is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing public health programs to promote the health and well-being of Arkansans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Train, supervise, and coordinate work schedules of public health program staff
  • Determine health program goals and objectives based on state and agency directives
  • Assist in monitoring program effectiveness and cost analyses
  • Communicate goals and policies of the health program in meetings, committees, conferences, and workgroups
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in public health, public health administration, or a related field. Alternatively, a bachelor's degree in a related field with one year of experience in health program administration or operations is also acceptable.
