Job Summary:

The Lead Cleaner III is a key member of our team at ABM Industries, responsible for providing leadership and direction to a team of cleaners. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to motivate and guide team members to achieve high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction to team members, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Relay communication between team members, clients, customers, and management, ensuring that all parties are informed and aligned.
  • Report performance issues to the Supervisor, taking proactive steps to address and resolve any concerns.
  • Assist with the training of new cleaning team members, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Assist with making daily and weekly work schedules, ensuring that tasks are allocated efficiently and effectively.
  • Oversee and perform cleaning operations in assigned buildings, ensuring that high-quality results are achieved.
  • Manage security of keys and access cards for the property, ensuring that sensitive information is protected.
  • Report work orders for maintenance, ensuring that any issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
  • Makes sure premises are secured at all times, ensuring that the property is protected from unauthorized access.
  • Work with Manager to schedule jobs with Property Manager and cleaning crew to complete the work, ensuring that tasks are allocated efficiently and effectively.
  • Oversees quality of jobs and confirms completion with Manager, ensuring that high-quality results are achieved.
  • Provide training to all new hires assigned to the building, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly, ensuring that all necessary resources are available and in good working order.
  • Complete order forms completely and accurately, ensuring that all necessary information is recorded and reported.
  • Coordinate equipment usage and inventories, ensuring that all necessary resources are available and in good working order.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have at least 1 year Lead or Supervisor Experience in Commercial Cleaning.
  • No high school diploma, GED or college degree required.
  • Must be Bilingual - English/Spanish.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One (1) year of similar work experience.
