In this role, you will play a vital part in the Grants, Incentives, and Policy Team as the Lead Grants Coordinator. This individual contributor position will oversee the grant management process, encompassing administration, coordination, timeline oversight, application development, submission, reporting, and project closure. You will foster relationships with key stakeholders, including funding organizations and community partners, while facilitating collaboration among joint venture partners and grant consultants. This position is essential for the successful deployment of Greenlane's public medium and heavy-duty charging and hydrogen hubs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in formulating and executing Greenlane's grant funding strategy and rollout plan, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives in targeted markets.
- Evaluate market dynamics and identify funding opportunities for available grants that support public charging initiatives.
- Establish a tracking system or database to monitor and apply for relevant grants associated with Greenlane projects.
- Prepare written summaries to communicate high-level details to the Grants team and provide recommendations on optimal approaches for various grant opportunities.
- Organize and prioritize diverse funding sources, outlining complexities and constraints while managing timelines to enhance award potential.
- Coordinate input and deliverables from joint venture stakeholders necessary for application submissions and reporting.
- Develop a cost-effectiveness analysis for grants and a tracking system to assess administrative costs against grant awards.
- Draft and submit applications and required documentation in compliance with specific funding program guidelines.
- Oversee reporting and other administrative responsibilities linked to funding awards.
- Monitor relevant KPIs and prepare/present reports to the leadership team.
- Create compelling narratives and templates to streamline the application process.
- Engage with stakeholders and build relationships with funding agencies, community organizations, and workforce entities.
- Facilitate meetings and maintain minutes between support staff and/or consultants to manage and finalize grant awards as necessary.
- Provide general support to the Grants team to cultivate a talented and diverse workforce within Greenlane, promoting innovative and high-value solutions.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- In-depth knowledge of the zero-emission vehicle ecosystem, including grants, policies, and incentives.
- Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret technical information and present high-level summaries to non-technical audiences.
- Proven aptitude for business-related topics.
- Exceptional proofreading and editing skills for grant documentation, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on long-term objectives.
- Effective and timely communication skills.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, agile work environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Flexibility to accommodate Pacific Time Zone hours for client interactions.
