The Role: We are seeking an Accounting Manager who is enthusiastic about creating engaging products for our fans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all operational functions of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
  • Lead and mentor a small team of accounting professionals.
  • Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing processes, including the preparation of financial statements and cash reconciliations.
  • Utilize automated systems such as ERP/financial systems and time tracking tools.
  • Manage the annual audit process and coordinate with state auditors as necessary.
  • Align accounting functions and policies with remote locations and corporate offices.
  • Supervise fixed asset accounting and record-keeping.
  • Handle tax reporting and compliance, including federal and state filings for multiple entities.
  • Maintain the general ledger and perform account reconciliations.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance accounting processes in collaboration with other departments.
  • Undertake additional accounting duties and projects as required.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or accounting; CPA certification is a plus.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a corporate accounting setting, with familiarity in mid-range automated financial systems.
  • At least two years of supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of payroll, cash management, taxes, and labor/expense capitalization.
  • Experience with annual accounting audits.
  • Familiarity with accounting in a multi-entity environment and transfer pricing is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Access.
  • Experience in a software development context is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently on assigned projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on prioritization and follow-through.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Compensation: Salary range of $90-120K.
