Farnsworth Group is in search of a Senior Water Resources Engineer to work from our Fort Collins, Denver, or Colorado Springs offices.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee a range of water and wastewater initiatives from conception through design, permitting, and construction phases.

Conduct planning studies and generate reports for assessing project alternatives.

Execute hydraulic calculations and modeling for water and sewer system evaluations.

Draft reports detailing engineering analyses and modeling outcomes.

Collaborate with local, state, and federal agencies to streamline permit approvals.

Engage directly with clients and a multidisciplinary design team to oversee projects.

Supervise construction activities with clients and contractors, including site visits, meetings, and review of shop drawings.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering; Master's degree preferred.

  • 15 years of experience in Water/Wastewater Engineering.
Possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) License.

Familiarity with water modeling software such as WaterCAD, InfoWater, and EPANET is preferred.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS is advantageous.

Willingness to engage in business development activities.

A strong passion for water and wastewater engineering.

Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.

Compensation:
$90,000 - $120,000 (Salary will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity)
