Your Role

In this position, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects that focus on the hydrologic cycle. You will collaborate with some of the industry's top technical experts, contributing to projects that enhance the quality and availability of water resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage in multi-disciplinary collaboration on water conveyance initiatives.
  • Conduct technical assessments to support the planning and design of sewer systems and water distribution networks.
  • Act as the Engineer-of-Record, overseeing the preparation of project specifications and civil engineering documentation.
  • Manage client relationships and lead project scoping and cost estimation discussions.
  • Supervise engineering teams, ensuring project deliverables align with budget and timelines.
  • Evaluate and specify engineering systems for projects, including pipe and pump selections.
  • Facilitate project coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead value engineering and constructability reviews for projects.
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients and regulatory agencies to define project requirements.
  • Participate in professional organizations and contribute to technical publications and presentations.
  • Develop project scopes, budgets, and design strategies while supporting business development efforts.
Qualifications

Skills and Experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of conveyance design principles, including sewer collection and water distribution.
  • Proficient in pipeline rehabilitation techniques and trenchless construction methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills, with experience in public speaking.
  • Ability to work effectively in diverse team environments.
  • Familiarity with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software.
Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer registration in Colorado or the ability to obtain it within six months.
  • A minimum of six years of relevant experience in water and wastewater design projects.
