*This position requires approximately 50% travel, including 8-10 overnight stays monthly. Some travel may occur during evenings and weekends, depending on location requirements.
Responsibilities of our Food Safety & Quality Assurance Specialists:
- Assist our hotel, restaurant, and grocery clients in maintaining brand standards, food quality, and excellent customer service.

Key Duties Include:
- Conducting assessments to evaluate compliance with established regulatory, industry, and proprietary brand standards for clients.

- Monitoring food preparation and cooking standards to ensure adherence to food safety, health, and sanitation practices.

- Collaborating with clients to identify root causes of assessment discrepancies and formulating corrective action plans.

- Educating and coaching clients on creating a safer and healthier workplace for themselves and their customers.

- Traveling up to 50% of the time, including 8 overnight stays per month, with some evening and weekend work.
Ideal Candidate Profile:

Possesses experience as a Teacher, Shift Lead, Assistant Manager, Kitchen Manager, Training Manager, Corporate Trainer, Bar Manager, Chef, Line Cook, Quality Assurance Food Auditor, or in Produce, Deli, Bakery, Seafood, and Grocery sectors.

Requirements:
- Must meet the criteria to obtain CP-FS certification within one year of employment.

- Availability to work Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays and evenings as required (including 2 weekend days per month).

- Willingness to travel by car and/or plane up to 50% of the time.

- Ability to lift 32 lbs to chest height, with capabilities for stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching.

- Strong interpersonal skills to influence others tactfully and provide constructive feedback positively.

- Thrives in an independent working environment.

- Preferred strong technical knowledge of food safety.

- ServSafe and/or CP-FS Certification(s) are advantageous.

- Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check.

- Valid driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle record check are required.
