Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to join our team at Northwell Health. As an Administrative Coordinator, you will provide diversified administrative support to the department and Department Head, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Compose confidential correspondence, reports, and related documents, utilizing strong writing and communication skills.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule appointments and meetings, making necessary arrangements and taking meeting minutes as required.
  • Receptionist and Registration Duties: Perform various receptionist and registration duties, ensuring a positive experience for patients and visitors.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Compile and analyze basic information, preparing statistical data for reporting purposes.
  • Presentation Materials: Prepare presentation materials, including charts, graphs, tables, and graphics.
  • Supply and Equipment Management: Maintain department supply and equipment inventory, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Research and Special Projects: Perform research for special projects, as assigned, utilizing strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Experience: 0-1 year administrative experience, required.
  • Technical Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), required.
  • Soft Skills: Ability to exercise independent judgment and employ basic reasoning skills, as well as communicate effectively.
