Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Operations Manager to join our team at One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our HVAC services and products, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Excellence: Develop and implement best operational practices to achieve budgeted gross margins, focusing on continuous improvement and process enhancements.
  • Branch Management: Oversee branch spend, including labor, vendor agreements, inventory, and fleet, to ensure optimal resource allocation.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure safety compliance, including employee training, safety tracking, employee compliance assessments, and incident investigations, to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Staff Development: Manage and develop service staff, including recruiting, hiring, termination, discipline, scheduling, setting work priorities, conducting staff meetings, evaluating performance, and directing work assignments to maximize production.
  • Training and Development: Maintain training of field personnel on systems, tools, and procedures, utilizing in-house training, ride-alongs, Success Academy, webinars, and online training programs.
  • Dispatching and Scheduling: Assist the dispatching operation in ensuring appropriate technician selection for the type of service, and participate in all company-sponsored training classes.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in a related field preferred.
  • Licenses and Certifications: TDLR HVAC Contractor License through the State of Texas in good standing required; EPA certification required; NATE certification preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of verifiable managerial, technical, and sales experience in the HVAC field.
  • Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of current HVAC products, excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, and computer proficiency, including with Excel.
Benefits
  • Compensation: $83,000 - $103,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • Benefits Package: Comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k) with company match, company vehicle, training, and room for advancement.
