Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Excellence: Develop and implement best practices to achieve budgeted gross margins, while continuously improving processes and procedures.
  • Branch Management: Oversee branch spend, including labor, vendor agreements, inventory, and fleet management.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards, conduct employee training, and maintain accurate safety tracking and incident investigations.
  • Staff Development: Recruit, hire, train, and develop service staff to maximize production and customer satisfaction.
  • Training and Development: Maintain training of field personnel on systems, tools, and procedures, and participate in company-sponsored training classes.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of verifiable managerial, technical, and sales experience in the HVAC field.
  • Licenses and Certifications: TDLR HVAC Contractor License through the State of Texas in good standing required; EPA certification required; NATE certification preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills; knowledge of local codes and permitting requirements; computer proficiency, including Excel.
