Job Summary:
The Front Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the front office operations and ensuring the smooth execution of all front office duties. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to manage a team of front office personnel and maintain excellent guest relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Supervise and train front office staff to ensure they are equipped to provide exceptional guest service.
- Operations: Schedule front office staff, manage workloads, and maintain accurate room status information.
- Guest Relations: Resolve guest complaints and issues promptly and efficiently.
- Financial Management: Maintain accurate accounts receivable and ensure cash handling and credit policies are enforced.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits to ensure brand standards are met and QA specifications are conformed to.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum two years of progressive experience in hotels or related fields or a college degree and one year of related experience.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office or similar computer applications, prior supervisory experience, and experience with brand or property specific PMS systems.
- Personal Qualities: Excellent written and oral communication skills, mathematical skills, problem-solving, reasoning, supervising, and motivating.
