Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Financial Operations Manager to oversee all financial operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial statement preparation, accruals, accounting, financial reporting, and cost accounting. Responsibilities

  • Oversee all financial operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll
  • Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements
  • Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures
  • Conduct regular ledger maintenance and reconciliation
  • Manage the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for accurate accounting of consolidated business results
  • Coordinate, prepare, and review monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
  • Manage the budget process and conduct financial forecasting
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements
  • Provide strategic guidance around capital financing options to support company growth needs
  • Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance
  • Interact with various departments and provide financial information and guidance as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial accounting role, preferably in the construction industry
  • Proficiency in financial statement preparation, accruals, accounting, financial reporting, and cost accounting
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • High proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly in Excel, and familiarity with accounting software
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and interact at all levels of the organization
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines
