Position Overview:

Wachter is seeking applications for the role of Project Coordinator within our Nationwide Service & Projects division. This position is based in our Lowell, AR office and is ideal for candidates with a background in managing operations across single or multi-site projects in the voice, data, security, or electrical sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operational activities and ensure project management processes are executed through all phases of the project life cycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring & controlling, and closeout.
  • Manage resource allocation, including hiring and assigning personnel for project tasks.
  • Develop bid sheets and contractual proposals for various projects.
  • Procure necessary materials and equipment for project execution.
  • Conduct quality and safety audits to maintain high standards for all materials and equipment used.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly financial forecasts and revenue projections.
  • Provide logistical support for projects and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Oversee project scheduling and billing processes.
  • Evaluate and estimate selected bid opportunities, ensuring thorough analysis.
  • Uphold professionalism and quality standards in all project dealings.
  • Facilitate effective communication with clients and internal stakeholders, representing the company in a professional manner.
  • Travel to client locations for technical training, site assessments, and relationship building.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations as mandated by the company and OSHA.

Compensation: $65,000 - $85,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred college education, though not mandatory.
  • Experience in project management within construction, technology, telecommunications, or related fields is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with CAT5, telecommunications, fiber optics, construction, or structured cabling IT is a plus.
  • Ability to interpret engineered drawings, bid specifications, and construction take-offs is beneficial.
  • A minimum of 2 years of project management experience is required.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including email, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong customer relationship management and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Typing speed of at least 40 WPM is necessary.
