We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Compass Group Poland Sp. z o.o. as a key member of our culinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Cooking and Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes following approved recipes and production standards, ensuring all deadlines are met based on production orders.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of hourly food service associates, including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and recommending disciplinary action as needed.
- Food Safety and Sanitation: Store food in designated areas following all corporate, state, and federal food safety and sanitation procedures, ensuring proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory and deliveries of product and supplies, tracking product production, consumption, and waste, and informing supervisors when supplies or product are low.
- Customer Service: Interact with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly and service-oriented manner, relaying relevant information directly to supervisors.
- Must have culinary experience and a strong understanding of food preparation and presentation.
