Business Development Manager

Chase Plastics is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for promoting and developing business opportunities for our materials in strategic markets and applications.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and penetrate priority prospect accounts for new business growth in specialty and engineering products.
- Assist small, medium, and large size OEM's and their tiers in developing new uses for CPS polymer products.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key contacts at CPS's corresponding suppliers to bring new opportunities and get preferred distributor status.
- Provide material recommendations, application development, and supplier technical interface as required to garner new business at targeted prospects and existing customers.
- Participate in joint technical sales calls and assist in providing support of field sales needs within defined market/material scope.
- Bachelor of Science or Business Degree (technical degree preferred), or equivalent work experience in a plastic materials environment.
- Minimum of five (5) years of thermoplastic resin sales or engineering experience.
- Excellent analytical skills, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows operating system and Microsoft Office.
- Mastery of Outlook and its interaction with the CPS Database.
