Our primary focus is on commercial truck tires and related services, catering to a wide range of tire needs from small wheelbarrow tires to large earthmover tires.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a committed and knowledgeable HR Operations Specialist to oversee various human resources functions. This role encompasses the administration of FMLA, workers' compensation, employee relations, performance management, and the implementation of HR policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in HR operations, particularly in FMLA compliance and workers' compensation management, along with a successful history of fostering employee relations and development initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar capacity.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A valid Driver's License and a clean driving record are required.

Required Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of FMLA regulations, workers' compensation laws, and HR best practices.
  • Proven ability to manage sensitive employee relations issues with discretion and professionalism.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Flexibility to adapt to the evolving needs of the organization and its employees.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks as necessary.
  • Comprehensive understanding of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in HR software or the ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the workers' compensation process, including injury reporting, claims management, and return-to-work programs.
  • Administer FMLA processes, ensuring compliance with eligibility determinations and leave tracking.
  • Develop and uphold HR policies and procedures that align with organizational objectives.
  • Manage employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, and retirement plans.
  • Coordinate open enrollment processes, ensuring effective communication and management of enrollment systems.
  • Address employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
  • Conduct research and analysis using reports and metrics from the HR information system (HRIS).
  • Stay informed on trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in HR and employment law.
  • Maintain accurate HR records, ensuring confidentiality and data security.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:
