The Role

We are currently seeking a seasoned Pipeline Integrity Specialist to join our dynamic team. This position is pivotal in our pipeline integrity assessment and repair operations.

As a technical authority, you will report directly to the Assessment and Repairs Manager and play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our pipeline systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Champion a robust safety culture aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Assist Operations and Regulatory teams during audits and compliance checks.
  • Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior pipeline integrity engineers.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to refine procedures, assess new technologies, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead significant projects and initiatives, ensuring they meet industry standards and regulations.
  • Engage with industry organizations to enhance knowledge and improve practices.
  • Deliver expertise in areas such as Pipeline Assessment, Maintenance, Inspection, and Risk Management.
  • Work closely with internal teams to uphold the integrity and compliance of our assets.
  • Conduct Engineering Assessments to evaluate pipeline pressures and reliability.
  • Foster relationships with both internal and external partners, including regulatory bodies and industry peers.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the field.
  • A degree in a relevant engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of industry codes and standards.
  • Experience with pipeline integrity functions and operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional Engineer (PE) designation.
  • Advanced degree or equivalent experience.
  • Understanding of data-driven decision-making processes.
