Vaco is seeking a direct hire Ecommerce Marketing Coordinator. This role is fully onsite and operates during standard business hours.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Collaborate in the strategizing, development, and execution of marketing initiatives and promotional efforts. Ensure alignment of brand, channel, and corporate strategies with account objectives. Contribute to profitable sales growth by expanding distribution channels and enhancing existing ones.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* BUSINESS STRATEGY:

o Collaborate closely with the Director of Ecommerce Sales and the team to establish and refine annual objectives, strategies, and growth tactics that align with brand vision and sales targets, from concept development to execution.

o Identify and communicate opportunities for product promotion and merchandising on Amazon. Provide strategic insights and requirements for new projects and creative briefs.

o Work alongside Marketing to monitor sales trends, evaluate promotional effectiveness, analyze consumer feedback, and optimize pricing and assortment based on industry insights.

o Stay informed about current trends, industry developments, and the competitive landscape within the digital marketing and Ecommerce sectors.

Maintain and update planning tools such as Trade Promotional Calendar, New Item Launch Calendar, and Account Reference Documents.

o Develop a comprehensive understanding of vendor websites and portals for analysis of sales data, inventory management, and promotional performance.

o Prepare and deliver impactful presentations at customer meetings. Represent the company at industry events and trade shows.

o Serve as the primary contact for all departments regarding day-to-day marketing direction and information for Amazon-related projects.

Advocate for Amazon's needs during internal planning, packaging design, and product launch discussions.

  • CATALOG MANAGEMENT:

o Lead efforts to manage and optimize the Amazon product catalog, including product launches, merchandising campaigns, and promotional activities to enhance brand visibility and growth.

Implement A/B testing to improve ad copy, creative elements, and targeting strategies for optimal performance.

o Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to identify market opportunities, develop new product ideas, and execute launch support plans for items and displays.

o Partner with the team to develop and execute Amazon-specific digital initiatives and support, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in response to market demands.

Maintain and optimize content, including images, videos, product details, and brand narratives. Monitor Amazon listings and resolve catalog issues. Ensure that product detail pages for top items are consistently accurate.
o Monitor competitive pricing strategies and recommend adjustments as necessary. Contribute to assortment optimization efforts, including strategic SKU rationalization.

  • PROMOTIONAL PLANNING & EXECUTION:

o Collaborate with the Director of Ecommerce Sales and Analysts to plan and maintain a calendar of promotions and deals that align with seasonal sales and profitability objectives, considering inventory planning across various business channels.

o Ensure promotions are set up in accordance with timelines, and that all promoted products are supported with updated content and imagery. Evaluate promotions for maximum ROI and optimize future initiatives based on past performance.
o Assist in managing the budget for promotional and marketing activities.

  • TRADE ADVERTISING & MARKETING SUPPORT:

o Utilize digital marketing expertise to guide retail agencies and representatives in managing and executing Amazon advertising and sponsored search campaigns to achieve strong ROI and brand objectives.

o Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing consumer experience and engagement on Amazon, including coordinating content for various platforms. Collaborate with Marketing on influencer campaigns and other upper-funnel strategies that complement national media efforts.

o Manage campaigns to meet and exceed a variety of performance goals, including advertising efficiency, profitability, sales growth, and brand awareness.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business management, or related fields, with up to five years of experience in Ecommerce management or digital marketing, preferably within a CPG context in an Amazon 1P/3P environment, including experience with Amazon Ads, SEO, and Vendor Central.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to influence decision-making. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential, along with excellent project management skills. Team-oriented, analytical, and passionate about Ecommerce and digital marketing.
