Position Overview

The Ecommerce Operations Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing daily activities and driving growth in the online retail sector. This position ensures that all E-Commerce processes are executed accurately to enhance customer satisfaction. The incumbent will manage the selection, inventory, packaging, and distribution of products for online orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee revenue generation and growth within the Ecommerce platform.
  • Manage the workflow of e-Commerce production, ensuring successful order processing, photography, and listing.
  • Establish and track performance metrics for the e-Commerce team, providing regular updates to enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with e-Commerce performance standards and behavioral expectations.
  • Handle recruitment, training, and performance evaluations for e-Commerce staff.
  • Coach team members on company policies and safety protocols to ensure compliance.
  • Guarantee timely and efficient order fulfillment for daily shipments.
  • Create and maintain documentation for sales tracking and data archiving.
  • Oversee customer service operations and resolve customer inquiries effectively.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and coordinate supply orders for the e-Commerce department.
  • Ensure safe and effective use of fulfillment equipment, providing necessary training to associates.
  • Stay updated on current software systems used for order processing.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement in e-Commerce operations and team dynamics.
  • Monitor performance across various online marketplaces.
  • Conduct performance reviews and manage daily associate performance.
  • Maintain work schedules aligned with business needs.
  • Audit shipping invoices and manifests for accuracy.
  • Assist with online product photography and listings.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Retail Management or a related field is preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience in e-commerce or online retail sales.
  • Familiarity with retail merchandising and sales strategies.
  • Knowledge of antiques, collectibles, and high-end designer items is advantageous.
  • Understanding of SEO and SEM practices.
  • Proficient in research and authentication of valuable merchandise.
