Position Summary:

The Community Manager serves as the essential connection between Jeeter and the local budtender community. This role encompasses the planning, budgeting, and flawless execution of educational initiatives, social gatherings, and events, ensuring that every interaction reflects Jeeter's high standards. Your expertise in communication and organizational skills will be crucial in maintaining operational excellence and collaborating with the product development team to keep the local team informed about the latest offerings. Your contributions will play a vital role in the expansion of Jeeter University's influence.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and manage Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Jeeter University events and social gatherings, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Oversee the planning and coordination of all educational initiatives and events, tracking budgets to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Lead all social hours and hybrid events.

Event Management and Coordination:

  • Organize and supervise budtender social events, awards, giveaways, and exclusive merchandise to enhance brand loyalty and engage the budtender community.
  • Create marketing materials and resources for Jeeter University.
  • Analyze market trends to anticipate and plan relevant events.
  • Manage costs associated with Jeeter University initiatives, focusing on operational efficiency.
  • Develop and oversee budgets for all initiatives, ensuring financial accountability.

Collaboration with Product Development:

  • Engage with the product development team monthly to stay informed about current and upcoming products.
  • Contribute to the creation of educational initiatives, ensuring the local team is knowledgeable about the latest products.

Budtender Advocacy:

  • Design and implement state-specific initiatives for budtender advocates, recruiting dedicated representatives from each dispensary.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Assist in developing SOPs for both general and event-specific processes to ensure consistency.
  • Collaborate on updating informational documents for Jeeter University to maintain accuracy.

Survey and Initiative Oversight:

  • Manage and create surveys for various budtender campaigns, ensuring effective data collection.

Budgeting and Strategic Planning:

  • Work with the broader Jeeter University team to align budgeting and planning with organizational objectives.

Collaborative Efforts:

  • This role requires close collaboration with the Jeeter University team, product development, and educational initiatives to ensure effective coordination and successful execution of all budtender initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Strong understanding of wholesale and retail marketing strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a high degree of business acumen.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including software such as Asana and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to adapt plans in a dynamic business environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Education and Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience in team management.
  • 4+ years of experience in marketing programs, campaigns, and events.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Mass Communications, or a related field is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel to various locations as needed.
