The Horticultural Technician plays a crucial role in the management, stocking, and care of plants within the nursery environment. Responsibilities include essential tasks such as irrigation, trimming, propagation, sorting, quality assessment, and maintenance of the facility. This position operates under the guidance of the Nursery Managers.

• Execute designated duties in the nursery as instructed by the Nursery Manager.
• Systematically catalog and arrange plants, labels, and pruning waste.
• Comply with nursery departmental guidelines and protocols.
• Thoroughly clean and disinfect all tools and equipment.
• Ensure a tidy and organized workspace.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Ability to work autonomously or collaboratively within a team.
• Availability for flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual tasks.
• Comfortable operating in a warm, humid, and brightly lit environment.
• Minimum age requirement of 21 years and successful completion of a background check.
