Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Receptionist to provide administrative support to our clients and team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be fluent in Spanish, and have experience working in a fast-paced collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Support
    • Answer and forward incoming calls, emails, and texts
    • Schedule initial client consultations
    • Greet clients and manage client waiting room
    • Notify clients of upcoming appointments and maintain calendars
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Check, sort, and distribute mail
    • Manage client payments and payment plans
    • Perform other clerical and office administration duties

Requirements

  • Fluency in Spanish required
  • Fluency in Portuguese a plus
  • Excellent time-management, priority-setting, and organizational skills
  • Skilled and detail-oriented multitasker with excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse groups, including those with mental disabilities, trauma survivors, and people in crisis
  • Ability to work a minimum of four-days-a-week in a downtown office
  • Work authorization in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated commitment to the LGBTQIA+ and/or immigrant community
  • Experience providing legal support services
  • Familiarity with working with people in crisis
