About HonorHealth: HonorHealth is a prominent nonprofit healthcare system in Arizona, dedicated to serving a diverse population. Our extensive network includes multiple hospitals, outpatient facilities, and a wide range of medical services.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Licenses and Certifications: A current Fingerprint Clearance Card is necessary, or you must apply for one within seven working days of employment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 60 days for specific sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Interaction: Serve as the first point of contact for patients, greeting and assisting them with inquiries. Manage phone communications and direct calls appropriately.
  • Scheduling: Coordinate appointments for various procedures, track attendance, and maintain accurate scheduling records.
  • Registration Duties: Handle initial patient registration, ensuring all necessary information is collected and documented accurately.
  • Insurance Coordination: Obtain necessary authorizations from insurance providers and manage co-pay collections.
  • Compliance: Adhere to HIPAA regulations while maintaining patient confidentiality and ensuring accurate chart documentation.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with inventory management and perform other administrative tasks as assigned.

Work Environment: This position is a full-time role, with a schedule of Monday through Friday during standard business hours.
