Responsibilities:
  • Conduct intake and re-certification of senior participants at mobile sites, ensuring accurate data entry into our web-based software, Link2Feed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing their concerns and needs in a professional and respectful manner.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve program goals, working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Travel to various locations, including office sites, NYCHA development houses, and community centers, to provide outreach and support services.
  • Assist with pantry operations, including food distribution, inventory management, and maintenance of a clean and organized workspace.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and reception duties.
Requirements:
  • A High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
  • Full professional proficiency in English and Spanish or English and Chinese is required.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs is required.
  • Self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills, multitasking abilities, and a commitment to helping the communities in need.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive.
  • Experience working with a diverse population is a plus.
